Button Installation
This page shows the recommended way of physically installing a Spur button. You may prefer to do this after you have connected the button to the Spur portal, in which case you can skip this section for now and continue to Connect the Spur Button to the Spur Portal.
If the body of the button is in its holder, insert flat screwdriver or blunt knife and lever gently to remove it:
Take the Spur button out of its box:
If the body of the button is in its holder, insert flat screwdriver or blunt knife and lever gently:
Remove the button body from its holder:
The holder can be secured to a surface using either the double-sided sticky pads provided, or with screws:
If using sticky pads, ensure that the surface is flat, clean and smooth, then push the holder against it firmly:
The button can then be inerted into the holder. It can be removed again as above:
